Agricultural Hexagonal Wire Mesh Netting Vinyl Coated Galvanized Steel
Hexagonal Wire Netting is also known by the name of chicken wire, gabion mesh and hexagonal wire netting. Materials of wire are low carbon steel, stainless steel, zinc-5% aluminum alloy (galfan), iron. Surface treatments are galvanized, PVC coating or galvanized plus PVC coating. Hexagonal wire mesh is usually used as fence for chicken, rabbit, duck, geese and so on. It can protect vegetable, flower or small plant from poultry and small animals. Hexagonal wire mesh also can decorate furniture, cabinet and dresser, manufacture sculptures, or used as window screen and door screen. It can be made into rockfall netting and stucco mesh. Heavy hexagonal wire mesh could used for gabion basket and gabion sack, it can control and guide water or flood, used as retaining walls, channel lining, in emergency situation and river training work.

1. Galvanized Hexagonal Wire Netting is covered with zinc coating. The protective layer is often between 40-260 g per square meter, which makes it corrosion resistant. Besides, it can be customized according to specific requirements. Also, the zinc layer makes it a shiny and silver surface. More than that, the tensile strength of the wire is at least 38 kg/m2 and the diameter of the wire can reach up to 5 mm. That’s is to say, galvanized steel mesh is strong to withstand pressure.
2. PVC coated Hexagonal Wire Netting is coated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Due to the extra protective layer, the service life of PVC mesh will be longer. Besides, it offers more color selections. But the cost of vinyl-coated wire mesh is higher.
